Freshfields Paths is a Keep Company coaching program, built for Freshfields and mapped to the Freshfields Career Milestones Framework. There are three paths, one for each stage of the associate journey. The program is fully covered by the Firm.

FOR JUNIOR ASSOCIATES | YEAR 1 TO 2
The early years come with a steep learning curve and a lot of unwritten rules. Navigate gives you a structured space to figure them out, with peers in the same boat and a coach who knows the terrain. Over 12 weeks you'll build the cultural fluency, the self-awareness, and the working patterns that set up the rest of your career at the firm.

ACCELERATE
FOR MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATES | YEAR 3 TO 5
The shift from junior associate to mid-level is about identity. You're managing up and down at the same time, contributing to the client experience, and making decisions for others. Accelerate helps you make that shift on purpose, over 12 weeks, with peers in the same stretch and a coach who can name what's actually getting in the way.
This is the right fit for you if:

ASCEND
FOR SENIOR ASSOCIATES | YEAR 6 +
As a senior, your most important moves take you from doing the work to leading it. Ascend builds the communication, delegation, and mentoring skills that the firm and your clients are looking for in a trusted advisor. Over 12 weeks, you’ll work with peers facing the same shift at the same time guided by a coach who’s been there.

HOW MUCH TIME DOES THIS TAKE?
Six 90-minute group sessions, plus three Converge meetings, plus an AMA over 12 weeks, works out to roughly 1 hour a week. 1:1 coaching sessions are only when you want them!
WHAT'S THE COST?
The cost is covered by the firm, and the commitment is all you. Paths is an investment from Freshfields in your development, mapped directly to the firm's competency framework.
IS WHAT I SHARE IN SESSIONS CONFIDENTIAL?
Yes. The firm sees aggregate program data and attendance, not the content of what you bring to sessions.
WHAT'S A CONVERGE MEETING?
Once a month, associates from all three paths meet for 45 minutes to engage in a guided cross-level conversation at a time that works for everyone. A Navigate associate hears how Accelerate and Ascend associates think about the same question, and the other way around. The integration is the point.

When you register, you'll be asked about your availability. We'll use that to build groups and schedule meetings that work for everyone.
