“My Keep Company experience definitely impacted my confidence at work. It helped me work through the challenging process of adjusting to becoming a working parent, learning how to manage my time, determining what I care about most, and working that into my busy schedule.”

“I was surprised by how transformative, moving, and effective it has been without being heavy-handed or oppressive in any way. I have been able to prioritize things that really make a difference for me and I've made meaningful accomplishments in my life that I did not expect to.”
- RIAZ KARAMALI, PARTNER, PILLSBURY

“This experience gave me the space to work through any and all aspects of myself, my surroundings and my responsibilities while gaining valuable insights on such a meaningful level. The feeling of support and community are truly impactful.”
- KAITLYN STALLMAN, DOCUMENT PRODUCTION LEAD, PILLSBURY

“The Keep Company experience was really meaningful to me and truly came at such a good point in my career, when I was navigating the path to partnership and juggling two little ones.”
- STEPHANIE LANGAN, PARTNER, PILLSBURY

“In a world where everyone seems to be connected, we're very much not. The Keep Company meetings allowed me to connect with a group of strangers in a way I didn't even realize I needed to. The support and encouragement I received from my coach and from the other board members has been instrumental in my taking more deliberate steps towards improving my outlook on life, and my personal, professional, and parental self. One of the best corporate benefits I've had in a very long time!”
- DANAYA BLANKS, BUSINESS ANALYST, PILLSBURY

“As an #oldmom, I am deep in the vortex of juggling, at one extreme, very young children and, at the other, elderly parents needing care – while simultaneously transitioning into a new leadership role with increased responsibilities. I’m proof that balancing personal versus career responsibilities doesn’t necessarily get easier. In facilitating connections we’d not otherwise make, with people facing similar experiences, the group provides reassurance and empowerment.”
- STACIE YEE, PARTNER AND GENERAL COUNSEL, PILLSBURY

“This was a deeply impactful experience for me, one that shifted my perspective at work and at home. Anyone that cares for someone else would benefit from this time and space.”
- JEFF PHANG, SENIOR ASSOCIATE, PILLSBURY
THE BENEFITS OF KEEP COMPANY ARE TANGIBLE:

“I felt a difference in my day-to-day work life. Keep Company helped me learn what I was capable of handling in terms of balancing work and motherhood. It made me feel like a more empowered person.”

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
If you care for someone else, Keep Company is for you. We’ve supported parents and caregivers across practice areas, departments and levels. All employees are welcome.

WHO IS IN MY GROUP?
We design groups so that you know you're with people who "get it" on day one. We gather groups of 8 people, with similar roles at work and home.

HOW OFTEN DO WE MEET?
6 meetings over 12 weeks to drive connection and clarity. Groups meet virtually every other week for 90 minutes. You also have access to your coach throughout the program.
MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
"I billed thousands of hours and was on partner track at a top firm. Then my daughter was born... and suddenly, I didn't feel successful. It was more than an identity shift. I didn't have the skills or support to confidently navigate this new chapter. Drawing boundaries, asking for help, and making time for me all felt impossible. After talking to hundreds (yes, hundreds) of parents and caregivers in the legal industry, I learned that I wasn’t alone. We’ve built Keep Company so you know you’re not alone either. We’ve put the support, the learning and the tools in one place - all you have to do is show up. We shouldn’t have to figure out how to care for our family, our work and ourselves alone. Now, we don’t have to."

SO, WHAT HAPPENS IN MEETINGS?
Your coach will offer the group topics, prompts and tools. You bring what’s on your mind, whether care, career, or anything else.

KEEP COMPANY IS FOR YOU IF YOU CARE FOR SOMEONE ELSE
Whether you're caring for children or a loved one, you have a big job at home, and at work.
KEEP COMPANY IS FOR YOU IF YOU WANT TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOURSELF
Don't we all? Don't worry. We're not pushing yoga and aspirational bubble baths. We'll give you the tools to assess what care would look like for YOU.

KEEP COMPANY IS FOR YOU IF YOU WANT TO CONNECT WITH OTHERS
As Esther Perel says, "Don't worry alone."
WE'LL BUILD A GROUP OF PEERS LIKE YOU. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOW UP.

THE FINE PRINT
BECAUSE WE KNOW LAWYERS
WHAT’S NEEDED FROM ME?
The cost is covered by your firm, but the commitment is all you. We will provide a coach, a group of similarly-situated people (your Board), and a guided curriculum. The only (but important) commitment is that you show up fully to our kick-off training and to your meetings. There's no “homework” or additional time required. Boards meet virtually for 90-minutes, bi-weekly for the first 12 weeks, then have the option to meet monthly for the remainder of the year. Over the year, the average time commitment is less than 2 hours per month or 6 minutes a day.
HOW DOES SCHEDULING WORK?
When you register, you’ll pick the date and time that you are available for your Board meetings. Most Board meetings occur during weekday lunch or afternoons.
WHO WILL BE IN MY GROUP?
Your Board will be comprised of up to eight other similarly-situated working parents or caregivers. We curate your Board based on your job function and seniority level (e.g., Boards for partners, or senior business professionals). We also consider the age of your children or whom you are caring for along with any other shared experience you share. Caregivers are matched with other caregivers. For parents, we can build around parenting identity or children’s ages.
Your Board will have peers from your seniority level, from top firms. This may include others from your firm, but never someone in your practice group.
CAN I JOIN IF I'M EXPECTING BUT NOT YET A PARENT?
We encourage you to wait until you return from parental leave so you can fully benefit from the program. In the meantime, we’d love to share recommendations and resources to support you during this transition. Email us at hello@keep-company.com, and we’ll be happy to help!
